Lecturer | Professorship – Data-based methods in mechatronics
Department Mechatronics
- Implementation and further development of courses in areas such as software design and data-based methods
- Participation in research activities, e.g., in the areas of image processing, production, robotics, control engineering, measurement and sensor technology, condition monitoring of mechatronic systems
- Participation in publication and examination activities in the above-mentioned fields
- Acquisition and management of third-party funded research projects and establishment of interdisciplinary collaborations with industry and research partners
- Supervision of scientific theses and student projects
- Participation in university processes and involvement in knowledge and technology transfer
- Doctoral degree (PhD) or equivalent academic qualification in mechatronics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, or robotics
- Subject-related teaching, research and professional experience
- International orientation with excellent didactic and communication skills
- Affinity for innovative forms of teaching and learning as well as new digital media
- Excellent German and English language skills
- Passion for engaging with students and enthusiasm for teaching

- Salary Package | annual gross salary of at least EUR 58.800 (Junior Lecturer) or at least EUR 70.000 (Senior Lecturer), based on full-time employment and adjusted according to qualifications and experience
- Awarding of Professorship | independent of the conclusion of a contract of employment, linked to an expert procedure, subject o the provision of corresponding evidence in the areas of teaching, research and practice
